Fibonacci space structures are generally lattice structures. Certain embodiments comprise applying (e.g., spirally) a Fibonacci sequence to a spatial structure(e. g., braced dome) such that the Fibonacci spiral is projected onto the structure. In some embodiments, the structural framework described herein comprises patterns observed in nature. In certain embodiments, Fibonacci space structure N is disclosed which is flexible and suitable for earthquake resistant space frames. In some embodiments, the pattern comprises configuration of general arrangement of Fibonacci space structure A which deviates minimum from its surface of revolution or free form surfaces.
